As soon as I heard Tiff got into Education, I was waiting. That was about a week and a half before May. As soon as I heard that I got into Education, for real, from an email, every day since has been a build up of excitement to be crushed by opening the mailbox and seeing other letters there. Not my letter. My letter is never going to come. That feeling of assurance, by the text on the letter, signed officially by the University of Regina, inviting me to spend three (max) more years with them to get my degree... it's never going to come. Every morning I think about the mail coming, every day after work I get nervous as I walk into the building thinking "maybe today!" and it's not.
Disappointment sucks. Especially Monday-Friday three weeks straight.
