Adiós, México. habría sido agradable.

I just had the most random sequence of lunch items. The appetizer was a large strawberry with some yogurt. Next stage, entree. I steamed a very large piece of broccoli, seasoned with a touch of butter, salt, and pepper. It was delicious. Desert: a piece of well toasted bread, with peanut butter and jam. This is what happens when you don't meal plan.

Today is a very pleasant day. So far the least pleasant part of today was my clase de espanol, where I listened to a very soft spoken girl have to repeat the conjugated verb "to prefer" to prefiere about ten times. Not only did I feel bad for the shy girl, but the pronunciation is really not as difficult as was being portrayed, and for some reason hearing foreigners butcher the pronunciation of a language is one of the worst kind of discords for me. It is bright, nice, the snow is melting. The blinds are open, the porch door is open. The house is quite clean. After I finish my dessert (toast mm) I will tackle the clean laundry that is in sorted baskets in the room, and then begin my research on aboriginal/amerindian/indigenous/first nations religions.

If you managed to translate the title of this blog, it says goodbye Mexico, it would have been nice. Daniel and I have decided against Mexico. It was a combination of Daniel and I not entirely liking the idea of the vacation (for differing reasons, but nonetheless.), and the amount of money that would be blown for a week. For me, I was caught up on the idea of a honeymoon. It was silly, really. I've known a few people who never went on a honeymoon, and then never go on one, and I associated it with the genre of travel. A resort type vacation would be nice, of course, but it's not what I would like to spend 4000 dollars on. Maybe if it was directly after the wedding to de-stress, but we aren't really lie around on the beach with other tourists kind of people. Or at least I speak for myself. Daniel doesn't like hot weather, anyway. We can spend time at multiple resorts and cruises in our older ages, I think. So for the summer, we have a couple ideas bopping around. We do have savings started toward a trip, so I'm sure we'll do something. What that is isn't determined. East, west, south, north? It will be in North America, anyway.

Well. I finished that piece of toast. Time to go fold laundry, and then get to work.

Deseo tú un feliz día.

  1. i'm not going to assume you are thinking Montreal, but the summers here are hot as hell... so you might want to come not in July-August.
