Welcome to Saskatchewan.
Last week it was spring time, and now it's back to January. I saw more stuck cars today and yesterday than I have in my whole life, probably. I bet no less than a dozen have occurred right around my apartment. It was actually a rather humorous day for me, as awful or heartless as that might be. Seeing and helping people spin their tires, trying to push their vehicles out of their parking spots. The shovels are out. People attempting too ambitious of feats for their vehicles and stuck. Stuck stuck. Everywhere. People sitting and watching and not helping each other get un-stuck. I wish this person would hurry up and shovel out so I can get stuck on the next street. I love Canada though. I got a day off school, I got some exercise, got to plow around in light fluffy snow up to my hips.
The U of R was cancelled today. SIAST in Moose Jaw was cancelled. Pending the weather, things should be up and running tomorrow. Here's hoping I can get my car out tomorrow and make it to class.
nice work shovelling Dan, but i don't want to assume that Dan did all the work. I miss the snow. It has rained more here in the past two days here than the entire spring time in Saskatchewan.
ReplyDeleteclimate change, we're all screwed.
