So I'm trying to change my diet. I hate the word diet. When I say the word "diet," I mean it like this:
S: What's the diet of a black bear?
F: Berries, roots, insects, garbage.
Usually when I want to lose a few pounds, I eat less. Pretty simple. I'm going for more of a lifestyle change. It's not that I really feel like I need to lose a few. I just want to put good things into my body and have it figured out before I get pregnant and raise sugar-happy kids.
We'll see what happens with my sugar-happy husband.
So far I've eaten 8 eggs. I should have gone to the grocery store before committing.
Yeah, I go through a lot of eggs on a low carb diet too, we usually have four dozen in the fridge at a time, lol! I find telling myself what I need to eat, rather than what I can't eat is the only way I'm ever successful at eating healthy. I tell myself I must eat a protein and a produce six times a day and that tends to crowd out breads, pastas and rice. Good Luck with your healthy eating!
