Well, it's been about five months that I have been without a cellular device. I'm locked back in, signed by the x, for 3 more years of subjectivity. I feel pretty good about it. If it's not one device it's the other. I actually hauled around my iPad almost everywhere. That, in itself, is enough to justify a new bill every month. I don't really see myself as having really ever 'given up' on anything, except maybe for the period of time that the iPad was incapable of any kind of text. We live in an electronic world, and though I shake my fists at general oblivion, resources are nice. As a future educator, I need (and want) to be available, up to date, and to integrate these bundles of information we store in our pockets and handbags.

I also want to take my class outside whenever I can. To foster a connection and love for the organisms we step on.

I'll likely fail at both, but at least I have ambition.
