I had one of the most interesting dreams I have ever had. What happened was that I went back in time to when I was about 14 or 15 years old. I decided that I was going to do things a little bit differently: be cooler in high school, try to date this guy I had a massive crush on but was too shy to do anything about -- honorable intentions to say the very least. But I truly did go back in time. My brain opened up incredible memories: the exact voice of the guy I had a crush on, for one. If I thought of it now I couldn't think of it, but he was talking to me on the phone and it was exact. I wore my retainer, zebra stripe pattern and all. My Great Grandpa who just passed away this year was there at a younger age. Old horses we used to ride, just crystal clear on how they looked. A younger version of the cats that are still on the farm I grew up on. When the time came that I met the guy I first dated, who I learned a lot from but would have preferred to have not gone through it, I acted differently so that nothing would have happened.

The dream quickly escalated into me and a girl from my highschool lying on our backs on the same skateboard (must have been extra wide) with something covering us so I could just peak out of the edges, going head first along a highway at speeds varying at about 90 km/hr to 130 km/hr. We were having just a normal conversation as we sped down the highway of my childhood, occasionally stopping to peak out and seeing vehicles dodging and slamming on their breaks as we weren't really watching where we were going. How we stayed on the highway is a mystery to me.

Brains, and dreams, are amazing.
